Wolf Pack Football Weather

The weather in Fairbanks is generally mild and predictable. August can be rather warm and sunny but, once the sun goes down it will cool off quick. September is usually cooler during the day and can get much colder in the evenings. Expect snow in late September and early October. Rain is not likely during the football season but, if it does rain it most likely will be in the form of sleet or really wet snow. There is very little wind in the Fairbanks area during August, September and October.

Detailed Weather Forecasts Below

2011 has been an unusually wet and rainy year for Interior Alaska. No matter to the Wolf Pack. By week five they had managed to beat North Pole in a down pour at Pride Field and took over the first place spot in the Railbelt Conference. They were also voted second in the state by the Alaska Sports Broadcasters Network Poll. It was a decisive victory over the North Pole Patriots in North Pole. Score: 62 - 38 Wolf Pack.
